Always follow the care label attached to the product; it takes priority over this general guide.
- Empty pockets and close zippers, snaps, hook-and-loop tabs, and vents before washing.
- Wash only when needed, using cold water and a gentle cycle unless the label says otherwise.
- Use a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softener unless the care label specifically allows them.
- Air dry when possible. Do not use high heat unless the care label permits it.
- Make sure the item is completely dry before storing it in a cool, ventilated place.
- Do not iron printed, coated, insulated, or seam-taped areas unless the label allows it.
Water-repellent care
Water-repellent finishes can become less effective with wear and washing. Use only a care or reproofing product suitable for the garment's verified fabric and follow both the garment and treatment instructions.
